Miss Amy
Director
Miss Amy is a dedicated Director at Milestones, bringing over 20 years of experience in early childhood education. After two decades in the classroom, she transitioned into administration and joined the Milestones team in April 2024. Her passion for nurturing young minds is deeply rooted in her personal and professional life—as the oldest of four siblings, a mother of two, and a lifelong advocate for children's development.
Amy plays a vital role in maintaining the high standards of care that define Milestones. She works closely with Tiana to design engaging, enriching experiences for the children, and her leadership ensures a nurturing, inclusive environment for families and staff alike. Her office is always open—a welcoming space that reflects her warm, approachable nature and her commitment to building lasting relationships.
Outside of Milestones, Amy enjoys relaxing at the beach, spending quality time with her family, and caring for her two adopted dogs. Her leadership, warmth, and unwavering dedication make her an invaluable part of the Milestones community and a role model to the entire team.

Miss Tiana
Assistant Director
Miss Tiana serves as Milestones’ Assistant Director, and we are incredibly fortunate to have her as part of our leadership team. She first joined us in the summer of 2024 as a part-time administrative assistant and quickly proved to be an indispensable asset—so much so that she transitioned to a full-time role without hesitation.
Tiana brings a bright, positive energy to our center each day. She’s often found moving between classrooms, checking in with staff, reviewing curriculum implementation, and making sure daily operations run smoothly. Known for wearing many hats, she handles everything from managing staff checklists and coordinating graduation events to ensuring each team member has the tools and support they need to succeed.
Her ability to stay organized while fostering a warm, collaborative environment has made a lasting impact on both staff and families. Tiana’s dedication to uplifting those around her and enhancing the quality of our program makes her an invaluable member of the Milestones family—and we’re so grateful to have her leading alongside us.

Miss Lorein
Teacher
Miss Lorein is a devoted teacher who finds fulfillment in the simple joys of life. Whether it's spending quality time with her family, engaging in meditative practices, or enjoying the companionship of her dog Minnie, she cherishes the bonds that bring warmth to her days. In her role as an educator, Miss Lorein brings a sense of joy to her students through interactive circle time sessions and creative activities. Her dedication to creating a positive and engaging learning environment is evident in the enthusiasm she brings to each interaction. Beyond the classroom, Miss Lorein extends her love for fun activities to her personal life, creating lasting memories with her daughter. Miss Lorein's balanced approach to work and personal life makes her a nurturing presence both at home and in the educational setting

Miss Monica
Teacher
Miss Monica is a dedicated seasonal early education teacher licensed through the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care. She is committed to her ongoing professional development and is currently taking courses to earn her Lead Teacher certification.
At Milestones, Miss Monica leads one of our toddler classrooms, where she takes great joy in watching her little learners blossom, build confidence, and prepare for preschool. Her classroom is often filled with music, gentle guidance, and meaningful opportunities for exploration.
Some of her favorite moments of the day include circle time, arts and crafts, and spending time in the gross motor room, where children can move their bodies, build coordination, and let out all their wiggles! These activities allow her to connect with her toddlers, encourage creativity, and support their growing independence.
With a naturally calm and nurturing demeanor, Miss Monica creates an environment children are naturally drawn to, one where they feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.
We are grateful to have Miss Monica as part of our Milestones family and appreciate the warmth, consistency, and passion she brings to her classroom each day.

Miss Tatyana
Teacher
Miss Tatyana is a seasoned and deeply valued early childhood educator at Milestones. Licensed through the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care, she brings experience, warmth, and a strong family-centered spirit to our program, something that comes naturally as the youngest of eleven siblings.
She leads our Infant Yellow Classroom, where her dedication to her students, her meaningful partnerships with families, and her thoughtful use of curriculum and sensory play make her truly exceptional. Her classroom is filled with music, bubbles, and nurturing interactions that create joyful, memorable moments for our infants.
Outside of Milestones, Miss Tatyana enjoys sea-glass hunting in Gloucester, spending time with family and friends, and caring for her beloved furry companions, Opal the dog and Kevin Ophelia the rabbit.

Miss Alicia
Teacher
Miss Alicia is a highly dedicated preschool teacher with over 20 years of experience in early childhood education. She holds a Bachelor's degree from St. Michael's College with expertise spanning across infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and pre-k students. Miss Alicia's teaching philosophy centers on child-initiated long-term investigations, where she nurtures curiosity and empowers students to explore their interests, setting them on a path of lifelong learning. Beyond the classroom, she enjoys cooking, attending live music events, and indulging in novels. She is a loving pet owner to Stanley Tucci, her cat, and Churchill, her loyal dog.

Miss Riliegh
Teacher
We’re thrilled to welcome Miss Rileigh to the Milestones team, where she will be supporting our Toddler rooms. Though new to the professional childcare field, she brings valuable experience from her years as a trusted babysitter and nanny, and her natural ease with young children shines through.
Rileigh is passionate about pursuing a career in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and is eager to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the children she works with. Outside of work, she is a creative soul who enjoys art, cooking, and gardening and her love for nurturing plants is matched only by her affection for her cat and dog.
When she’s not cultivating young minds or tending to her garden, you’ll often find her enjoying her favorite music. We are excited to have Rileigh on board and look forward to the positivity, creativity, and fresh energy she brings to our team!

Miss Melinda
Teacher
Miss Melinda is a dedicated toddler teacher with a lifelong passion for working with children. She is a proud graduate of Salem State University, where she earned her degree in Psychology, giving her a strong foundation in child development and early learning.
For more than three years, she has been a valued member of the Milestones family, growing into a nurturing, creative, and dependable educator. Her journey in childcare began early, from babysitting infants within her family to leading her own Sunday school class, experiences that helped shape her love for teaching.
In the classroom, Miss Melinda’s enthusiasm shines brightest during messy sensory play. She loves offering hands-on experiences that spark curiosity, build confidence, and encourage toddlers to learn through exploration.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her dog, Charlie, reading, exploring new places, and being with family and friends.

Miss Melissa

Miss Melissa is an experienced and deeply valued educator who brings both knowledge and creativity to her classroom. A proud graduate of Merrimack College, she strengthened her passion for early childhood education and her commitment to helping young learners thrive during her studies. She has been a cherished part of the Milestones family for four years.
Outside of work, Miss Melissa enjoys crocheting, painting, and journaling, creative outlets that often inspire the hands-on activities she introduces in the classroom. She also loves taking peaceful walks with her loyal dog, Charlie, and savoring moments of relaxation.
Miss Melissa is passionate about fostering a love for reading and encouraging her students to embrace messy, imaginative play. Her classroom is known for its warmth, creativity, and joyful learning experiences that support every child’s growth.
In her downtime, she enjoys life’s simple comforts, like Netflix and the occasional chance to sleep in. We are grateful for the creativity, dedication, and heart Miss Melissa brings to Milestones each and every day!

Miss Kianna

Miss Kianna, also known as Miss Kia to our Milestones family, comes to us with more than 10 years of experience in the healthcare field, much of it devoted to hospice care. Through that work, she gained a profound understanding of empathy, connection, and compassionate support—qualities that translate beautifully into early childhood education.
After many meaningful years in healthcare, Miss Kia felt called to a new path—one filled with joy, curiosity, and the energy of little voices. Stepping into childcare felt like coming home. Her passion for nurturing relationships and guiding others through growth has found its perfect place in the classroom, where she now supports young toddlers as they explore, learn, and take on the world one tiny step at a time.
As a proud mom of two wonderful children, she knows firsthand just how magical and important these early years are. She brings that same love, patience, and encouragement into her classroom each day. In Miss Kia’s room, you’ll find music, creativity, meaningful connections, and plenty of hugs. She is excited to grow alongside your children and make each day a joyful adventure.

Miss Kelly

Miss Kelly joins Milestones with more than 20 years of experience working with children. Director certified through the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care, she is truly a “jack of all trades” and can be found supporting any classroom where she’s needed. Most recently, she has taken on a lead role in our preschool wing, where she has flourished.
Miss Kelly brings energy, creativity, and a hands-on approach to learning. She loves getting messy with crafts, exploring the outdoors, and encouraging children to use their imagination. Her dedication to her students and families is evident in all she does, and her warm, joyful presence makes her classroom a welcoming place for all.
Outside of Milestones, Miss Kelly enjoys beach walks, running, and giving back to her community through charity work.

Miss Mackenzie
Teacher
Miss Mackenzie is an enthusiastic and creative educator who has been part of Milestones since we first opened our Amesbury location in 2023. A certified teacher through the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care, she proudly leads one of our preschool classrooms.
Mackenzie brings a vibrant blend of energy, imagination, and warmth to her teaching. She loves creating joyful learning moments, whether through spontaneous dance parties, engaging story time sessions, or hands-on activities that spark curiosity, confidence, and excitement in her students.
Outside the classroom, Miss Mackenzie enjoys reading, staying active at the gym, and spending time at the beach and with her son, Carter. Her positive spirit and dedication make her classroom a place where children feel eager to learn and grow each day.

Miss Xiomarie
Assistant Teacher
Miss Xiomarie, affectionately known as Miss Xio, has been passionate about working with children for as long as she can remember. She began babysitting at 15 and has cared for children ages 1–7, quickly becoming a trusted caregiver within her community. Joining Milestones has been a meaningful and transformative step in her journey, offering opportunities for both personal and professional growth as she builds her career in early childhood education.
As an assistant teacher, Miss Xio supports both our younger and older toddler classrooms, working closely with our lead educators to strengthen her classroom management skills and deepen her understanding of child development. She brings patience, positivity, and a genuine joy for watching children learn, grow, and discover the world around them.
Outside the classroom, Miss Xio loves spending time with her family, shopping, enjoying outdoor adventures with friends, and staying connected to her church community.
Miss Xio is grateful for every opportunity to guide, nurture, and learn from the children in her care—and we are thrilled to have her growing with us here at Milestones.

Miss Nani

Miss Nani is a newly certified teacher with a deep passion for early childhood education and a heart full of enthusiasm as she begins her professional journey in childcare. While new to the classroom, Nani brings a wealth of hands-on experience from her time as a church youth leader, where she connected with children of all ages and developed a strong understanding of their developmental needs.
Driven by her love for nurturing young minds, Nani is committed to creating a warm, supportive, and enriching environment for her toddler classroom. Her approach blends creativity, curiosity, and care—whether she's leading a sing-along, guiding a messy art project, or exploring the outdoors with her students. Known for her gentle spirit and joyful energy, it’s not unusual to find her at the center of a toddler hug pile, fully immersed in the magic of childhood discovery.
Nani's dedication to learning and growth, both her own and her students', shines through in everything she does. With a strong foundation in connection and compassion, she fosters a space where every child feels seen, supported, and inspired to explore the world around them.

Miss Mary

Currently pursuing her certification in early childhood education, Mary is passionate about providing nurturing, high-quality care and is committed to continual learning as she grows in her role.
As an infant teacher, Mary is known for her gentle, attentive nature and her ability to form strong, supportive connections with both children and their families. She values open communication and collaboration with parents, ensuring that each child receives consistent care and love in every setting.
Mary’s creativity shines in the classroom—especially during the holidays, when she leads fun, themed crafts that delight the infants and provide engaging sensory experiences. Her thoughtful approach makes learning playful and meaningful, even for the youngest learners.

Miss Reese
Float
Miss Reese joins our team as a part-time float while actively pursuing her college degree, and she has already made a lasting impression across every age group at Milestones. With her warm, kind-hearted demeanor and natural ability to connect with children, Reese brings energy and joy into every classroom she steps into.
Her positive attitude and eagerness to help make her a valued team member, as she effortlessly builds strong relationships with both children and colleagues alike. Whether she’s leading a creative activity or jumping in to support wherever needed, Reese’s presence is always uplifting and dependable.
Outside of work, Reese enjoys hiking, sewing, and baking, and she shares her home with three beloved cats—Luna, Mango, and Gracie. She brings her creativity into the classroom through crafts and imaginative play, making each day engaging and enriching for the children.
Reese’s friendly spirit, artistic flair, and deep connection with the children make her an indispensable part of our team, and we’re thrilled to have her with us.

Miss Alyssa

Miss Alyssa brings a wealth of experience to our team, with a strong background in childcare that includes roles as a babysitter, nanny, and classroom teacher. As a devoted mother to a toddler—with a new baby on the way—Alyssa has a deep, firsthand understanding of infant care, and her natural ability to nurture and connect with the little ones in her classroom is truly exceptional.
Her genuine warmth and dedication are evident in the strong relationships she builds—not only with the children, but also with their families and her fellow educators. Alyssa’s calm, attentive presence creates a safe, loving environment where infants can thrive, and her insight into early development enriches every interaction.

Currently guiding our newly transitioned infants with care and intention, Karina creates a warm, supportive environment where children feel safe, loved, and eager to explore. As a mother to a toddler herself, Karina brings a personal understanding of nurturing and development, which shines through in every interaction. She also prioritizes strong relationships with families, maintaining open communication and advocating for the unique needs of each child in her care.

Miss Shelby

Miss Shelby is a wonderful addition to our team and has fully embraced her role as the lead Pre-K teacher with enthusiasm and heart. In her first lead teaching position, Shelby has approached the role with a thoughtful, open-minded attitude—eagerly learning from experienced colleagues and incorporating their insights as she develops her own confident teaching style.
Her dedication to personal and professional growth is evident in everything she does, and watching her rise to new challenges has been truly rewarding for both her peers and her students. Shelby brings a warm, creative energy to the classroom, helping her Pre-K learners thrive through engaging lessons and meaningful connections.

Miss Emily began her journey with us as an assistant in the Infant Room and has since grown into a certified teacher who supports classrooms throughout the center. Miss Amanda

Miss Neila has been a valued member of the Milestones team for nearly a year, returning during school breaks and summer to support our infant and toddler classrooms. A dedicated college student pursuing a degree in education, Neila brings both passion and purpose to her work with young children.
Known for her warm smile and positive energy, Neila is a nurturing and attentive presence in the infant wing. She’s deeply in tune with the needs of the babies in her care, creating a calm, responsive environment where each child feels safe and supported.
Outside the classroom, Neila is a dedicated athlete with a love for swimming, field hockey, and tennis—her strong sense of discipline and teamwork translates seamlessly into her role at Milestones. Always quick to take initiative and lend a hand, she’s a true team player who thrives in the fast-paced world of early childhood care.

Miss Lara

Miss Lara joins our team with a unique background in the welding trades, bringing a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and a hands-on mindset that translates beautifully into the classroom. As an Assistant Teacher in our Toddler Room, she is patient, reliable, and always ready to support the children as they explore, learn, and grow.
Lara’s calm presence and can-do attitude make her a steady and reassuring part of our program, and her willingness to jump into any task is truly appreciated. Miss Kennedy has been working with children since she was 19 years old and has quickly become a wonderful addition to our infant team. As an Assistant Teacher, she brings patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for supporting little ones as they learn and grow each day.
Kennedy’s confidence and willingness to jump in wherever she’s needed make her an invaluable support in the classroom. She is always eager to learn, ask questions, and share new ideas, bringing a fun, energetic, and collaborative spirit to our team.
